IPAs from history, exactly re-created from old recipes and lost notes

Belgian monks are known for brewing strong ales, which have for centuries been sold to finance their monasteries. This abbey-inspired ale was brewed using traditional Belgian ingredients and techniques. It is fermented with yeast captured from a bottle of Belgian abbey ale that we propagated at our brewery. The flavour of this strong, slightly hazy golden ale will evolve as it warms in your glass.

This strong adambier is a re-creation of a 500 year-old recipe from what is now Dortmund, Germany but at the time was part of the Holy Roman Empire. It's a rich, roasty and mildly smoky beer that reminds us of the folk legend of King Gambrinus, the mythical king of beer, who some say was taught to brew in Hell by the devil himself.

This beer is flavoured with the new growth of cedar trees. The use of young leaf shoots for flavouring was common before the use of hops. New growth provides a aroma of floral, resin and west coast forest.

This IPA pops with juicy, tropical-forward hops! Dry-hopping with Cryo Pop and Simcoe pushed this beer to the next level, maintaining a full body and adding a slightly sweet finish.

The flavours of a classic margarita packed into a balanced sour beer. Fresh lime purée and zesty orange, complemented by generous amounts of Vancouver Island sea salt, make for the best of both cocktail and beer worlds.

This classic West Coast IPA is dry-hopped with Amarillo and Centennial hops, known in combination for producing citrus-forward notes of bold grapefruit and orange zest. Semi-sweet malt character is backed by a clean, lingering bitterness and complemented by floral and pine aromas.

Made in collaboration with our good friends at Field House Brewing Co. This is a mega-fruited sour beer full of passionfruit, lemon, banana, and a bunch of coconut chips. Elevated with Sabro hops for extra tropical flavours and finished with lactose for a sweet creamy body. *On tap only*

Light, clean and crisp this Mexican lager is only more crushable with the addition of lime and salt adding a seemingly classic twist on one of our brewer's favourite styles.

Initially released over a decade ago, this Imperial oatmeal stout became a local obsession. Infused with Madagascar vanilla beans and aged in whiskey barrels, you will taste why!

Inspired by the legendary "Blue Dream'' cannabis strain, this 2025 iteration is a dream come true for hop enthusiasts and cannabis connoisseurs alike. With hops and plant terpenes that mimic the aromatics of Blue Dream, you'll experience a dank and hoppy aroma, complemented by juicy, fruity undertones and a hint of spice. It's a flavour journey that will leave you feeling blissful.

Purple Haze was brewed with botanically derived plant terpenes, allowing us to recreate the aroma and flavour profile of the Purple Haze cannabis strain without using any THC/CBD related products. Expect a dank, juicy IPA blooming with notes of berries and a melon funk from our use of Belma hops. Floral, earthy undertones help bolster this unique brew, with aromas reminiscent of fresh BC bud.

Our take on the classic northwest American IPA shuns the heavy caramel and resin notes typically found in this style for something more refined and unique. Sunshine Rain has been brewed to be balanced, lively, fresh and dry, but doesn’t hold back with an aggressive dank and tropical hop punch. We have jammed all the flavours and aromas we possibly could - and then some - into our Hazy Pale Ale. Red wheat and oats provide a soft, pillowy body and silky mouthfeel. With a maelstrom of tropical hop flavours and aromas from out-of-this-world dosing of new world hops - Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic - this hazy beer will fill your heart and saturate your senses. This super serious beer is a throwback to all the great Italian family resultants we went to as kids. Since we are such serious people we honoured those memories with a dry hopping of citra, centennial and Amarillo. Bada bing, bada boom!

Guava on da loose, guava on the moose. Packed with mountains of Guava to keep you bouncing off the walls like you're fresh outta grade school.

This Hazy IPA was fermentation dry hopped with Citra, Idaho 7 and Eldorado and then dry hopped post fermentation with the same. This IPA should pack a big candy like citrus punch with notes of dank orange and jolly rancher and is fully in the tropical flavour zone.

You can't get so hung up on where you'd rather be, that you forget to make the most of where you are.⁠
